Custom designs
Bring us your idea, your logo or a rough sketch and we will print it. Everything is made to order in-house, which is why we can do one shirt for a birthday and eighty for a team.
What we make
- Team and club apparel — tees, hoodies, warm-ups and spirit wear, with names and numbers where you need them
- School and program orders — a store of your own on this site, so families order and pay individually and you are not collecting cash
- Business and staff wear — logo shirts, aprons, uniforms and event staff apparel
- Events and occasions — reunions, fundraisers, birthdays, bachelorette parties, family trips
- One-offs and gifts — a single shirt with your own artwork on it is a perfectly normal order here
How to send us a request
- Fill in the quote form on the request a quote page. It asks everything below, so we can come back with a price rather than a list of questions.
- Or start from a garment on the design page, where you pick a tee or a hoodie, upload your artwork and mark where it goes. That sends us the same request with a placement reference attached.
- Or just email us at support@ecmcustomdesigns.com if that is easier.
What to tell us
The more of this you can include, the closer the first quote will be:
- What you would like made, and roughly how many
- A size breakdown, if you have one — youth and adult
- Garment style and color preference
- Where the design goes: front, back, left chest, or a combination
- Any names, numbers or personalization
- The date you need them by
- Your artwork, or a description of what you have in mind
Artwork
The finished print can only be as good as the file it came from. We cannot add detail or resolution that is not in the original, so please send the best version you have — the full requirements are on our artwork requirements page.
No artwork yet, or only a photo of an old shirt? Send it anyway. We will tell you what can be used, and quote for redrawing it if that is what it needs.
Quotes and pricing
Every custom job is quoted individually. The price depends on the garment, the quantity, how many print locations there are and how much work the artwork needs. Quotes are free, and we will always confirm the total in writing before anything is printed.
Artwork that needs background removal, redrawing or vectorizing may carry an additional artwork fee, which we will tell you about in the quote rather than after it.
Approval, then printing
- We reply with a quote and any questions about the artwork.
- You approve the quote, and we send a digital proof showing the design, its size and its placement.
- You approve the proof. Nothing goes to the printer until you have, and the proof is what we print — please check spelling, names and numbers carefully.
- We print, and let you know when the order is ready.
Timing
Turnaround depends on the size of the order and what is already in the queue, so we confirm dates with your quote rather than promising a number here. If you have a deadline, tell us at the start — we will say plainly whether it is achievable.
Made to order, and final sale
Custom work is printed specifically for you once you have approved the proof, so custom orders cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded — including for a size chosen in error or a change of mind. Please check sizes and approve proofs carefully.
If something arrives incorrect, damaged or with a printing defect, that is ours to fix — contact us and we will make it right. The full terms are in our printing & order policies.
